Deaf and Hear Alberta are dedicated to addressing the accessibility, advocacy, education and communication needs of the Deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing populations of Alberta. With our head office in Calgary, Alberta and a second office in Edmonton, they excel at communication through the delivery of ASL services, workplace sensitivity training, advocacy and education to Deaf consumers and their families. They provide interpreting, consultation, assessments, and assistive technology. They provide training and education for hearing loss prevention and management; and aim to improve the public’s awareness and understanding.
